While 2025 has started with a BANG we wanted to take a moment and look at the amazing numbers we achieved last year — all with YOUR help!

• 6.8 million servings of seafood were distributed to food banks nationwide (compared to 5.2 million in 2023)
• 1.7 million pounds of seafood distributed last year (400,000 pounds more than ‘23)
• 54 food banks and feeding centers in 22 states received donations in 2024 (compared with 31 agencies in 19 states in 2023)

Of course we couldn’t do this without the seafood industry’s support!!

This year has already been busy with over 880,000 pounds of product distributed by mid-April. This has included over 40,000 pounds of seafood donated by Riverence, Hilo Fish, and Grobest for post-wildfire relief in Los Angeles.

Even more seafood went to the area as a result of OBI Seafood’s “like and share” social media campaign, which resulted in 2,600 pounds of canned salmon going to Every Day Action in Los Angeles. This is a creative way to give back!!
