E&E Foods Gives Big for Alaska

E&E Foods has just generously donated 110,000 pounds of nutritious wild Alaska smelt for food banks, and SeaShare helped coordinate the first delivery for the Food Bank of Alaska - 30,000 pounds (120,000 servings) - with three more similarly sized donations scheduled to help address the growing needs in communities hit by the COVID-19 virus.

It takes a village to move large volumes of seafood into the food bank system, and PBX Trucking, D&B Transload, and Tote Maritime Alaska all donated their logistical help to get the smelt from Puget Sound to Anchorage.

Another load will soon go to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, and other coast communities that appreciate these valuable and nutritious fish.

Stay tuned for updates! Thank you, E&E!
