SeaShare

And...they're off!

In the Race to Alaska, Team Pure & Wild is racing 750 miles by water (with no engines) to support SeaShare and promote wild, sustainable Alaska seafood

The gun went off at 0500 this morning in Port Townsend, WA. Team Pure & Wild, raising funds to help SeaShare bring more seafood to food banks, is racing against over 60 other boats on the first leg of the race, which will conclude in Victoria, BC later today. The full race, from Victoria to Ketchikan, AK will start at noon on Sunday, June 11th.

The Burd brothers on the eve of the Race to Alaska. All smiles and warm dry weather.

A bit dark and dreary at 5 am, but Team Pure & Wild is keeping things bright with their yellow jib!
